FC Porto paid two million euros to guarantee the arrival this summer of Uruguayan defender Maxi Pereira, according to the Portuguese club revealed in a report on its financial results.
The document, sent to securities regulator (for a listed company) and released today by Portugal media reports this payment and included in the expenditure for "brokering services in the acquisition of players passes", which amounted total to 6.64 million.
The "dragons" explained that companies benefiting from all these payments were Onsoccer International, Media Base Sports Around 380 Marketing, Northfields Sport, Quarry America Tigerfish, Energy Soccer, Proeleven, Calitecs, Gondry Services Finances, Management and agents Vela Alexander Zahavi , Ricardo and Pedro Regufe Riviera.
The signing of Maxi Pereira by Porto was one of the highlights of last summer market in Portugal because the Uruguayan international comes from its main rival in the Portuguese championship, Benfica .
The player, 31, ended his contract with the people of Lisbon in June, after months of negotiations to renew, preferring finally change course and joining the "dragons".
