An outbreak of gastroenteritis leaves Espanyol with seven questions to visit the Betis

RCD Espanyol reported Tuesday the existence of an outbreak of gastroenteritis in the first blanquiazul template that already affects up to seven players who have not been able to train and are in their homes, and they are serious doubt to visit this Thursday Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin, in a league game that is key in the fight to avoid relegation being tied at 28 points.

After Victor Alvarez , who on Monday was the first to show symptoms, Tuesday have been Victor Sanchez , Burgui, Asensio, Hernán Pérez , Gerard Moreno and Abraham who after undergoing revision has been done to them in the Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque first thing they had to go home by this outbreak of gastroenteritis.

"The seven have had to return to their homes and have to wait to see how they will react in the coming hours. At about 48 hours to start Thursday's game against Betis, the club will inform you promptly of the evolution of this process" the club said in a statement.

Since the game is like a 'final', being both teams tied at 28 points and 4 points currently descent, if confirmed these seven cases of gastroenteritis and be low affected the technician, Constantin Gâlcă, would have serious problems to make a starting lineup similar to that which is most common.

And, despite the return after enactment of Felipe Caicedo , the coach would be without Gerard Moreno Burgui --autores or three of the goals of victory in Gijon (2-4) - plus without oxygen in the center of Victor Sanchez and field Abraham, without the creative magic of an inspired Marco Asensio without the speed and balance at the end of Hernán Pérez.
