CEO of Juventus , Giuseppe Marotta, said today that the French midfielder Paul Pogba , sought by many European clubs, "is not in the market , " although he admitted that "in football you never knows".
"Pogba is not on the market. Last year there were important offers but is a key element of the club in a few years. It is also normal that the signings are made possible when the will of the player," said Marotta in an interview with 'Radio Anch'io Sport.
"Pogba has grown with us and became a champion. His place is this, but in football you never know," said the Italian manager.
Asked about the future of coach Massimiliano Allegri , whose contract ends in June 2017, Marotta said it is a "winner" and that "his achievements are the club".
"Allegri has many merits, he managed the legacy of Conte well and created balance in the locker room. He's a winner. You won with Milan and won another Scudetto with us , " he said.
On the serious injury of midfielder Claudio Marchisio , who tore a cruciate ligament in the last game against Palermo , the CEO said he will be "sidelined for six months" and expects to "recover before".
