Garbiñe Muguruza qualified for the second round of the Olympic tournament

Spanish tennis player Garbiñe Muguruza qualified for the second round of the Olympic tournament after beating comfortably Romanian Andreea Mitu in two sets, by a double 6-2, Sunday in Rio de Janeiro.

Mitu, who had defeated the Spanish born in Venezuela in the only time they had faced (in 2011) replaced last minute Jelena Jankovic, a former world number 1, who resigned in the morning by an injury shoulder.

And the world number 190 was no match for the winner of the last Roland Garros, although Muguruza began giving his serve in the first set and placed with a 0-2 deficit but reacted and from that moment the party will not he had history.
