Judoka Hassan Khalmurzaev brought Russia a third gold medal of the Olympics

In the final match of the Olympic judo tournament in the weight category up to 81kg 22-year-old Russian citizen Hassan Khalmurzaev defeated American Travis Stevens. It was the first Olympic medal in the sport career of Hassan Khalmurzaev.

Bronze awards went to Japanese Takanori Nagase and Sergiu Tom UAE.

Thus judoka brought to the treasury of the Russian national team of the 11th Olympic medal. The assets of the Russians three gold medals, five silver and three bronze.
