David and Caro have been dating for over 3 years now and he proposed in 2017 during their vacation in Bora Bora.
David revealed the happy news by posting the above photo and saying:

Caroline’s engagement ring is a Joey Hamra classic 8.88 carat D color flawless in clarity oval diamond ring. The jeweller posted pictures on Instagram, showing his enthusiasm for the upcoming wedding.

When Caro and her soon-to-be-husband posted pictures on social media, the WTA players were prompt to react. Monica Puig, Agnieszka Radwanska, Lucie Safarova, Aleksandra Wozniak, Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Melanie South all congratulated the happy couple.
As you certainly remember, Wozniacki was previously engaged to golfer Rory McIlroy: the couple spent three years together before the golfer decided to end it over the phone when the wedding invitations had already been sent out! Wozniacki handled the situation with grace and she has definitely moved on.
