UEFA announced today after the meeting of its Executive Committee to apply the technology of the goal line in the final of the Champions League and the Europa League in this exercise, which will take place in Milan and Basel respectively.
This technology, which allows to determine if the ball has completely surpassed the goal line or not , first used in 2012 by FIFA and was used for the first time in a major tournament for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.
In late January , UEFA had already announced that the practice will also during the European Championship next summer in France and in the Champions League from next season.
