Rafael Benitez, current coach of Newcastle United and Liverpool coach, celebrated on Tuesday the decision of the jury about the tragedy of Hillsborough and welcomed that "justice has finally been done" .

"I am particularly happy for the families of the 96 killed in the unfortunate events of Hillsborough who asked, from day one, justice with dignity and conviction, and maintained their complaint for many years," said Madrid coach, 56.
"But I'm also for all the people of Liverpool and football fans in general. Hopefully today's verdict will help that such tragedies will never happen again," concluded Benitez in the letter.
Friday, judicial investigation determined that death by crushing 96 people now Hillsborough Stadium 27 years ago was not an accident and was the result of an "involuntary homicide" attributable to the police.
