Deportivo La Coruna announced Monday officially the dismissal of coach Victor Sánchez del Amo .
Through a brief statement on its website, the Galician club thanked the coach his "commitment, dedication, effort and professionalism during the stage that has led the team in the First Division."
Victor arrived at Deportivo on April 9, 2015 and managed to remain in La Liga . After a great start in the 2015-16 season and the team in European positions, he was named best coach of the championship in the first round.
However, the team was deflated during the second half of the course and came to light clashes between some players and the coach himself.
Confirmed the presence of the team in the elite of Spanish football for next season, Deportivo decided Monday without their coach.
At the moment it is unknown who will succeed Victor in office on the bench Riazor.
