Five people have been injured in a small way today to a shootout between supporters of the cause Fenerbahce , one of the most successful football clubs in Turkey , currently second in the Turkish Super League, reports the chain CNNTürk.
A group of supporters gathered at 15.00 gmt time at a bakery near the stadium in Istanbul, where an hour later would begin the match between Fenerbahçe and Mersin IY, current bottom club in the First Division.
A debate about leadership in the group of fans caused a discussion during which one of the participants pulled a gun and began firing at random.
Five people, all belonging to the group of Fenerbahce fans were achieved in arms or legs, but all were able to move on their own feet to a nearby hospital, where they were treated with mild prognosis, reports said chain.
The match ended 4-1 with a victory of Fenerbahçe, so cut away to Besiktas , current leader in the Superliga, and away from its traditional rival, the usually strong Galatasaray, which is currently in a distant and inglorious eighth position.
