The figure of exlegendario quarterback Peyton Manning left intact course of research on use of prohibited substances that opened the League National Football (NFL), after a newspaper report who accused him of alleged consumption growth hormone.
The NFL determined that Manning did not use the hormone or any other banned substance that would allow improved performance in the field, according to anti-doping policies governing within the league, said a statement issued by the office of the commissioner, Roger Goodell.
Before its final determination, the NFL interviewed Manning and his, who "cooperated fully with the investigation" wife Ashley, according to the league.
The NFL also received relevant medical records and, in view of the data and evidence, determined that there was insufficient evidence to speak of a violation.
At the end of 2015 a report of Al Jazeera said that Manning was among several athletes who had received performance-enhancing drugs in an anti-aging clinic based in Indianapolis.
The Qatari chain said it had sent human growth hormone (HGH, for its acronym in English) Manning's house in Florida in 2011, while recovering from a series of surgeries in the neck.
Al Jazeera reported that shipments were on behalf of Manning's wife, Ashley, who was in charge of receiving them.
Manning was "furious" and "outraged" by the information and said he had never used HGH, although he acknowledged having received treatment at the Institute Guyer, clinic name mentioned in the report of Al Jazeera.
