Spanish international Nikola Mirotic recognized the need to give "a step forward against Brazil" after falling on Sunday in the first match of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro against Croatia, a match that reduced the margin of error of a Spain that relaxed "somewhat" in the second half.
"As you know, it was a very difficult game. We have made a great first half, but in the second we relaxed a bit and when they started to climb we got nervous," he said.
The power forward Chicago Bulls wanted to highlight the positive aspects of grief. "Without it make a great game, with little success and could have rebounded better in defense, have been a point of winning a team that comes from winning very tough matches," he said.
"We know that many games left, although it has reduced the margin of error. The team always gives his best when things are not well given. We have to take a step forward against Brazil," he added.
"We both played a lot. They also did a great game, but were about to go up. They are physically very well, but it will depend more on our feelings," he concluded.
