Si elvetienii se iau de Simona Halep
Jurnalistii elvetieni o critica pe Simona Halep pentru o decizie pe care a luat-o la finalul anului trecut, considerand ca aceasta a fost inexplicabila.
Portalul Bluewin face o analiza a rolului pe care antrenorii il au in progresul jucatorilor, iar Simona Halep este dat exemplu negativ.

"Are dorinta de a deveni cea mai buna si de asta e nevoie. Am fost impresionata de abilitatea ei de a sta in meci si n-a renuntat pana la final. Asta e de asemenea o mare calitate", a continuat aceasta.
Dupa Turneul Campioanelor, Simona a dezvaluit ca Serena i-a spus ca "e sigura ca va deveni numarul 1 in lume si ca vrea sa faca o poza cu viitorul lider".

Topul celor mai zgomotoase jucatoare de tenis
Spectatorii dar si telespectatorii meciurilor de tenis feminin sunt adesea deranjati de zgomotele produse de jucatoare. Si nu putine sunt cazurile in care urletele scoase de acestea rivalizeaza cu evenimente la care ai nevoie de casti de protectie.
Presa americana a realizat topul celor mai galagioase jucatoare din istoria tenisului si, asa cum era de asteptata, primul loc ii apartine Mariei Sharapova.
Rusoaica are un record masurat de 101 decibeli, ceea ce echivaleaza cu suntele scoase de un avion ce tocmai decoleaza.
Locul doi este ocupat de portugheza Michelle Larcher de Brito (decibeli neconfirmati), ale carei urlete sunt la fel de puternice precum motorul unei masini de Formula 1.
Cu 93,2 de decibeli, americanca Monica Seles ocupa locul trei in acest top. Ea este printre primele jucatoare care au dat nastere acestui fenomen. Dupa retragerea din activitate, Seles a afirmat ca regreta ca urla atat de puternic.

Serena Williams este constienta ca porneste ca favorita in disputa de sambata, insa nu uita ca Sharapova este un adversar redutabil.
"Toata lumea se asteapta ca eu sa castig, dar Maria joaca fenomenal. Era aproape eliminata, dar si-a revenit si s-a calificat mai departe, iar acum joaca din ce in ce mai bine.
Cred ca e foarte bine ca numarul 1 si numarul 2 din clasamentul WTA se vor intalni in finala. Cred ca va fi un meci interesant", a declarat Williams.
La randul ei, "Masha" anunta ca isi doreste sa rupa blestemul si s-o invinga, in sfarsit, pe Serena.
"Cred ca forta si agresivitatea ei m-au facut intotdeauna putin prea agresiva, sa incerc mai mult decat pot. Reuseste sa isi forteze adversarele sa greseasca. La acel moment, Serena Williams a fost surprinsa de un jurnalist in timp ce vorbea la telefon cu Venus Williams despre Maria Sharapova.
"Ea incepe fiecare interviu spunand 'Sunt atat de fericita, sunt atat de norocoasa!' E atat de plictisitor! Nici macar nu o invita la petrecerile tari. Si daca vrei sa te iubesti cu un barbat cu inima neagra, cine te opreste?", a spus Serena lui Venus, cu referire la Maria Sharapova.
Declaratiile au aparut in presa americana si au starnit furia rusoaicei, care nu s-a sfiit s-o contreze public, amintindu-i de presupusa relatie pe care o are cu antrenorul patrick Mouratoglou.
"Daca vrea sa vorbeasca despre lucruri personale, poate ca ar trebui sa vorbeasca despre iubitul ei, care era insurat, iar acum divorteaza desi are copii. Sa vorbeasca despre altceva!", a reactionat Sharapova.
Dupa acest incident, Serena Williams a declarat ca i-a cerut scuze Mariei, dar rusoaica a refuzat sa confirme.
In plus, in ultimul an si jumatate cele doua sportive nu si-au mai vorbit.

Un barbat in varsta le-a cerut sa faca o pirueta Serenei Williams si lui Bouchard
Editia 2015 a Australian Open este lovita de un scandal cu tenta sexuala care a luat amploare in ultimele doua zile. Serena Williams si Eugenie Bouchard, doua dintre cele mai bune jucatoare din intrecerea feminina, sunt implicate.
Totul a plecat dupa ce Ian Cohen, comentator al celor de la Tennis Australia si omul desemnat sa realizeze interviurile de dupa meciuri, le-a cerut celor doua sportive sa faca piruete pe teren pentru a-si prezenta echipamentele de joc.
Daca Serena a refuzat, Bouchard s-a conformat, insa ulterior a marturisit ca i s-a parut extrem de ciudat.
"A fost ceva neasteptat. Adica, da, nu stiu cum sa explic. Un barbat in varsta mi-a cerut sa fac o pirueta, a fost ceva amuzant", a spus Genie dupa acel episod.
Serena Williams a avut un discurs mai dur, lasand sa se inteleaga faptul ca a fost extrem de deranjata de propunerea lui Ian Cohen.
"Un comentator mi-a cerut sa fac o pirueta. Nu stiu daca le-ar fi cerut acest lucru lui Rafa Nadal sau lui Roger Federer. Nu stiu daca a fost ceva sexist sau nu, nu pot raspunde eu la aceasta intrebare", a replicat lidera clasamentului mondial.

Cele doua au surprins in momentul in care au mers impreuna la manichiura inaintea unui turneu, iar cel mai frumos moment al relatiei lor s-a petrecut anul trecut, cand Serena Williams a asteptat-o plangand pe Caroline dupa ce aceasta a incheiat maratonul de la New York.
De altfel, Serena Williams spune ca lucrurile s-au schimbat in tenisul feminin, iar jucatoarele au o relatie mult mai apropiata.
